Laser Therapy
I have been using the RianCorp LTU-904 for almost 10 years now. It has been used for both the lymphoedema clients and those with post operative scarring, skin fibrosis and axillary cording. It is used in conjunction with usual lymphoedema management treatments.
Since moving to Vermont I have used it to treat musculo-skeletal conditions in conjunction with remedial massage techniques. It has been helpful in pain management.
The LTU-904 is a Low Level Laser which does not heat the skin. It’s invisible wavelength penetrates up to 2 centimeters into tissue. Results after laser therapy vary between clients with some people claiming immediate relief while others find no benefit. There is a growing body of evidence on the benefits of laser therapy.
